Bucks County Project Gallery – The Opening!
What an amazing weekend! Stephanie Lisle, the gallery owner, decided to have no less than three opening nights, and what a great idea that turned out to be. Every evening was packed with locals showing great interest in the art and the artists. There was fabulous food from many local hot spots and everyone seemed to have a great time, even the kids! Many knew one another and had heard on the grapevine about the opening. All were excited about the potential for the new gallery and felt it was perfectly positioned to play a major role in our ever growing artistic community. Needless to say, all the exhibitors are ecstatic to finally have a photography gallery in town.
The Bucks County Project Gallery aims to highlight photographers and illustrators from the Bucks area. There will be new exhibitions monthly, often interspersed with special events. One thing that makes this gallery stand apart from others is that Stephanie is hell bent on involving a larger demographic than might normally be given an opportunity to show their work in a gallery. She will be opening the doors to all talented individuals. While she intends to maintain high standards, there is a desire to encourage a younger demographic to participate as well. Bucks County’s roots in art are deep and she would like to help nurture that as much as she can. Pictures will be chosen by a jury based on their composition, quality of craftsmanship and presentation.
The inaugural exhibition at the Bucks County Project Gallery includes photographers JamesTyksinski, Christopher Kennedy, Robyn Graham and illustrator JohnFtheArtist.
