Photo Luminism Lights Up The Town!
With back to back exhibitions starting back in November 2011, the pressure to keep my new series in the limelight month after month has been fierce. But with the very flattering invitation to take part in The Photography Place Gallery’s group show ‘Continuum,’ closely followed by the amazing offer from The Bank of Princeton to make room for me in their full June/July schedule, removing a previously arranged holiday exhibition, things have only continued to sizzle.
Whilst in residence at The Bank of Princeton I was approached by ‘dtown’ magazine to be their featured cover artist for July. The very talented Corinne Pulsinelle, whose writing I have long admired was given the task of writing what her editor thought would prove to be a tough assignment. She did an amazing job and is now working on a longer article. Earlier in the year I was also approached by Princeton based journalist and poet Ronni Rose to do a piece. Ronni did a wonderful commentary on my first video slideshow. Both articles will be submitted to interior design magazines.
Currently I am back exhibiting at New Hope’s Gallery Piquel, owned by Tamara and Jim Cannon, whose vote of confidence in my work along with the breaking of their own ‘no photography’ rule last year gave me my public start that was so well covered by the Bucks County Herald and Philadelphia’s Bucks Life magazine.
After 2 weeks of intense learning and working with famed photographer’s mentor, Mary Virginia Swanson, I have a brand new WordPress website. I’m ready to start the next stage in the marketing of Photo Luminism. It’s a good year and it’s going to get even better!
