Photo Luminism at the Manhattan Heliport!
Thanks to my wonderful friend Tamara Cannon at the exquisite Gallery Piquel in New Hope, anyone can now catch glimpses of Photo Luminism at the Manhattan Heliport. If ever there were doubts that influential executives and designers scour the galleries of our quaint little town for unique artwork for their elegant Manhattan offices, please dispel them right now. Linda Steventon, Director of Operations for Saker Aviation Services did just that. Tamara, who has championed my work since before day 1, realized the potential immediately as Linda was looking for high tech stylistic art for the reopening of their VIP Lounge in Downtown Manhattan that had been seriously damaged by Hurricane Sandy.
Linda eventually settled on three candidates she really liked. Luckily Tamara suggested I take a couple of extras just in case Linda had a change of heart or needed an additional piece. As it turned out, she loved them all, so she now has a total of five adorning the walls of their very smart VIP Lounge. The pieces she chose are Folded, Droplets, Propeller, Deep Space and Matrix Transformation.
The Downtown Manhattan Heliport, one of the most advanced in the industry, is located on Pier 6 of the East River; convenient for busy executives, leisure travelers and sightseers alike. Definitely worth a visit!
I find it very fitting that Saker Aviation have a motto whose sentiment I echo one hundred percent:
“Refuse to be average. Let your heart SOAR as high as it will.”
