Photo Luminism Artwork Chosen for Hyatt Regency Chicago
I am tremendously honored that an art consultant group I contacted late last year has selected no less than EIGHT of my Photo Luminism pictures to adorn the public spaces surrounding the Hyatt Regency’s Grand Ballroom. The pieces will range in size from 60×40 to 96 x 48.
The Hyatt Regency in Chicago is in the final phase of it’s $168 million renovation. The hotel, situated on the lake front in downtown Chicago is stunning, with extraordinary interior design and wonderful artwork throughout. I am very proud to be a part of it and look forward to visiting soon.
As much as I would love to share the images that have been chosen I don’t feel it would be appropriate yet, so I’m afraid you will have to wait until they’re hung some time in March or April. In the meantime, please feel free to visit my website where you will see many similar pieces. If you’d like to see more examples, please get in touch using the contact page and I will share additional images with you.
I know this isn’t the Oscars® but since it is a pivotal moment for me I would like to thank the core group of relatives and friends who have totally supported, encouraged and even invested in my efforts over the last year with such vigor and enthusiasm. I could not have done it without you. I also need to thank a few by name for taking a leap of faith in exhibiting my art and for becoming such good friends along the way: Tamara Cannon, Charles Callaghan, Narendra Haynes, Marianne Romano, Luella Tripp, Annette Coletta and Stephanie Werner Lisle. To Catherine Cavella for being my first corporate client and making the trademark possible. And then there are those whose advice, generosity or pure good taste has pointed to this first big corporate achievement: Stephen Perloff, Mary Virginia Swanson, Leslie Simitch, Laurie Miller and Liz Kay. Thank you all so very much.
